1.PROBLEM

Dojo, a Canadian retailer specializing in mixed martial arts gear needed a complete brand identity system and a premium e-commerce experience that could communicate its core values of craftsmanship precision and discipline. The challenge was to build a comprehensive visual framework from the ground up transforming a standard retail concept into a powerful market presence that felt authentic to the raw atmosphere of the martial arts world. The existing brand space was crowded with generic cluttered layouts and fragmented visual identities so the business required a unified look and an intuitive digital storefront that could balance heavy high impact aesthetics with a seamless commercial structure.

2.Role

Bruno acted as the principal creative force defining the complete visual voice brand architecture and interface logic of the entire Dojo ecosystem. He took charge of crafting the core identity components creating a clean and simple lettermark featuring signature sharp cut corners designed to evoke tactical precision. Bruno established the brand guidelines mapping out a high contrast palette of traditional black and white mixed with a bright warm red tone to command presence across both physical packaging and digital surfaces. From the initial brand identity development to the final web layout he stripped away unnecessary clutter to ensure that both the corporate image and the products took center stage.
